I am
I previously worked for Hertfordshire Constabulary and currently
work in a voluntary capacity for Lincolnshire Police, as a Puppy
Walker / Trainer, preparing young dogs for Licensing as full working
Police Dogs.
I have also worked as a Security Dog Handler on various contracts
across the country.
My initial dog training was undertaken at the Hertfordshire
Dog Training School, where I was trained by Mic Martin (of Dog
Borstal fame) I have two working Springer Spaniels of my own and
have attended various shoots over the years and competed in Field
Trials, as well as local dog shows and obedience competitions.
I am studying for the Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management,
which is supported by the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for
Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour I am currently
applying to join the UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists.
I am a member of the Institute for Animal Care Education and
a Student Fellow of the Zoological Society of London.
Personal Qualifications; BSc(hons) Environmental Studies specialising
in Conservation and Recreation Management.
Certificate in Equestrian Business management (British Horse
Society teaching experience up to Assistant Instructor level)
Full first Aid training both Human and Canine. Affiliation with
local Veterinary Surgery.

My main priorities
To work with both owners and dogs
To understand the needs of both pet dogs and working dogs, and
to help owners achieve the very best for their dogs
To provide an excellent service and unrivalled level of care
and attention to detail for every dog in my care, whether it be
through day care or training.
I am able to offer a service fully tailored to each individual
clients needs. Taking into consideration each dogs routine, temperament
and breed. I fully understand the needs of working pet owners
and will work around your schedule to enable the best care for
your dog.
Working and Security dogs are catered for separately to my pet
clients needs, and owners can feel assured that I have the expertise
and facilities to deal with their dogs.
Both outdoor and indoor facilities are provided for optimum
care. I also have excellent facilities for exercising and stimulating
all types of dogs.
Equally so, the relaxing countryside environment is perfect for
dogs that need time out to either relax, recouperate or have a
break from working.
Elderly or infirm dogs that need special treatment are fully
catered for within my home.
Dogs are transported safely and securely in excellent quality
carriers supplied by LINTRAN of Lincoln. (Please ask for details
